Return & Refund Policy

At World Smart LED (WSL), we want you to be fully confident in every purchase — whether you're a contractor outfitting a job site or a homeowner upgrading a single fixture. That's why we back every order with a straightforward, 30-day risk-free return policy.

1. 30-Day Risk-Free Returns

You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return for any eligible item. If it's not the right fit, wrong specification, or you simply changed your mind, we'll make it right.

2. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Required

Every return — regardless of reason — requires a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before the item is shipped back to us. Returns received without a valid RMA number may be refused or delayed.

How to request an RMA:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery via the "Contact Us" page at worldsmartled.com, email, or phone.
  2. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  3. Our team will review your request and issue an RMA number along with return instructions, typically within 1–2 business days.
  4. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the return package. Do not return items without it.

3. Who Pays Return Shipping

Shipping responsibility depends on the reason for the return:

  • Our error or a product issue (wrong item shipped, defective unit, damaged in transit, or a product that doesn't match its listing): WSL provides a free prepaid return shipping label.

  • Buyer's choice (changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, no longer needed): the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

In both cases, a valid RMA number is required before the item ships back to us.

4. Condition Requirements

Returned items must be unused or only lightly tested for fit/function, and returned in their original packaging with all included components, hardware, and documentation. Items that are installed, wired, visibly damaged from use, or missing original packaging may be subject to a reduced refund or return denial.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Custom or made-to-order fixtures

  • Clearance and Last Light Clearance items

  • Bulk or pallet orders

These items are marked as final sale on the product page at the time of purchase. Defective units within these categories are still covered under manufacturer warranty — contact us for support.

6. Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected (typically within 2–3 business days of arrival), we'll notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. No restocking fee applies to eligible returns.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or a product proves defective, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll issue an RMA and a free return label, and arrange a replacement or refund at your preference. Claims submitted after 7 days may still be reviewed, but will fall under our standard 30-day return terms rather than the damaged/defective process.

8. Exchanges

We currently process exchanges as a return (per the RMA process above) followed by a new order. Reach out to our team and we'll help you get the right fixture as quickly as possible.

This policy applies to purchases made directly through worldsmartled.com. Items purchased through third-party marketplaces are subject to that marketplace's return policy.
